What is the Difference Between Full Representation And Consultation Packages?
When it comes to finding the right immigration consultant, there are important factors to consider, such as experience, reliability, accreditation, and ease of communication. However, it is also crucial to be aware of the overall cost of achieving your immigration goals, especially with the increasing prices in Canada.
In most immigration law offices, they typically offer only full representation services and provide information about the immigration lawyer’s fees after an initial consultation. Here at JMB Canada Immigration Consulting, at least four different packages for each specialized program is offered. As for the immigration consultant’s professional fees, you can find all the packages with a detailed breakdown on the website before booking your immigration consultation. This allows you to have a clear understanding of the costs involved in advance.
Are You Currently Taking New Clients?
Absolutely! JMB Canada Immigration Consulting is currently accepting new cases. However, it’s important to note that COVID-19 is still having a national impact on IRCC processing times. As a result, the processing of your application may take longer than usual. To minimize any additional delays, it is highly recommended to get started as soon as possible.
Do You Currently Offer In-Office Appointments?
All appointments are virtual. This way it is convenient any time, and anywhere in the world. We don’t have to be in the same province, territory, or country for that matter. With the use of both phone, and online screen sharing, we can share all the information and the documents required for your application.
Do You Accept Cases From Other Countries/Provinces?
Yes, JMB Canada Immigration Consulting assists clients from all countries/Provinces regardless of the type of application.
If I Retain Your Services, Will I Have Access To My File Through IRCC Account After Submission?
If you opt for full representation, it’s important to know that you won’t have direct access to your application through the IRCC portal.
Instead, all applications are submitted through the IRCC Authorized Representative Portal, which is separate from the regular client portal.
Rest assured, All clients are updated regarding all IRCC notifications within one business day. However, there may be rare instances where further document review could take up to three business days. In such instances, I will communicate any necessary updates promptly.
What Are The Next Steps To Booking An Appointment?
A digital document will be sent to you that includes:
- booking the initial appointment;
- reviewing and signing the Service Agreement;
- completing an intake form or immigration questionnaire;
- making payment.
Once all steps are completed, you will receive an email from JMB Canada Immigration Consulting confirming receipt of your booking and once all documents have been received.
Do You Guarantee Approval? What If My Application Gets Refused?
It’s essential to understand that no one can guarantee the approval of your application since the final decision rests solely with the immigration officer.
JMB Canada Immigration Consulting kindly advises you to steer clear of ghost consultants or unethical representatives who make false promises or provide success rates in order to catch your attention.
At JMB Canada Immigration Consulting, the main focus is on you and maximizing your chances of success. All effort will be made to legally guide and assist you in the most successful way forward.
In the event that your application is refused, I offer a one-time resubmission free of charge. Please note that this does not cover government application fees, and it excludes cases where false, misleading, or incomplete information or documents were provided by the client.
What Happens If I Do Not Receive ITA?
Certain IRCC programs require an Invitation to Apply (ITA) before you can submit your application. Receiving an ITA involves many factors developed by IRCC. Therefore, the outcome is not solely dependent on the professional skills of your immigration advisor. However, it is crucial to add your profile to the pool of candidates for consideration in draws.
If you do not receive an ITA for PGP, you will receive a refund of all professional fees paid, excluding a $250 non-refundable deposit.
JMB Canada Immigration Consulting is committed to your success, which is why your profile will be resubmitted into the pool free of charge within the next two years at your direction.
Regarding Express Entry applications, immigration consultant fees are already divided into two Service Agreements:
Stage 1: Express Entry Profile Submission
Stage 2: Permanent Residence (PR) Application upon receiving ITA (CEC or FSW)
Do You Offer Payment Installments? What is Your Refund Policy?
JMB Canada Immigration Consulting operates through a trust account in accordance with the IRCC Trust Account Regulation.
Clients are required to make full payment into Client Trust Account as per Section 5.1 of the Service Agreement. However, client funds will be withdrawn from Trust Account as per payment schedule identified in Section 6.2 of the Service Agreement.
You may also refer to the Service Agreement for more details.
How Long Does The Application Process Take?
Processing Time Before Submission: Usually it takes 5-10 business days to review and submit an application to IRCC once a personalized document checklist is completed by the client. The overall process can take anywhere from 1 week to 6 months based on the type of program as well as how fast the client can gather all required documents.
Processing Time After Submission: IRCC Application processing times vary depending on:
- Type of application;
- country of residence;

Can You Assist Me If I Have Previous Refusals?
An initial consultation is required to assess your individual situation and reasons of refusal to make sure our consultant can take your case.
What Can Prevent Me From Coming To Canada?
Some people are not allowed to enter Canada. The definition used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada is “inadmissibility”. There are many reasons, why you may be refused entry to Canada:
- you are a security risk;
- you have committed human or international rights violations;
- you have been convicted of a crime, or you have committed an act outside Canada that would be a crime;
- you have ties to organized crime;
- you have a serious health problem;
- you have a serious financial problem;
- you lied in your application or in an interview;
- you do not meet the conditions listed in Canada’s immigration law; or
- one of your family members is not allowed into Canada.
If there is a valid reason why you have to travel to Canada, you may be issued a temporary resident permit.
Please note a Canadian immigration officer will decide if you can enter Canada when you apply for a visa, an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), or when you arrive at a port of entry.
Don’t wait until your visa is refused. If you or your dependent family member has an inadmissibility condition, contact our consultant today to discuss your options.
Are Government Application Fees Included in Your Prices? Are There Any Other Fees?
Prices include professional fees only. GST may be applicable on top of that.
Government fees and disbursements (translation services, medical insurance premiums, medical examination fees, language exam fees, international student admission fees, etc.) are paid directly to the government of third parties.
To check IRCC’s processing fees, please refer to their website.
